The Blockchain.io BCIO Token Sale Completed: Blockchain.io Trading Platform Launched this month, November 2018 and BCIO tokens will start trading on the platform starting December 2018 (one month after Trade platform launch).

Below is the outcome of the Blockchain.io token sale that ended on October 25th 2018.

The Blockchain.io team is geared towards fulfilling the expectations from investors/token purchase contributors have of them by delivering their trading platform (the exchange and features) as promised.

Overall, it cost Blockchain.io (BCIO) $3.8 million to fund the development of the BCIO exchange/trading platform. Of the $3.8 million, $1.5 million were collected during the crowdsale exclusively in BTC and ETH. 2.5 million BCIO tokens were sold to 882 contributors. Crowdsale tokens that were not sold will be burned to protect the BCIO token value and ensure contributions remain valuable.

From the $3.8 million, Paymium, the parent company committed $2.3 million from its own treasury to enhance the research and development of Blockchain.io’s exchange/trading platform. The $2.3 million provided does not involve the exchange of any BCIO tokens as the funds committed were separate and distinct from the crowdsale raise.

• At the launch of our exchange, 5 coins will be available for trading under 4 separate trading pairs as follows: ETH/BTC, BCH/BTC, XRP/BTC, and LTC/BTC.
• In December 2018, BCIO tokens will be distributed and made available for trading on the BCIO/BTC trading pair on Blockchain.io.
• We will roll out one of our most anticipated features, Decentralized Settlement, by Q2 2019.
